A nutritionist shouldn’t just be passionate about healthy food, but compassionate about the barriers that often stand in the way of being well. I’ve been in the busy corporate world where it’s hard to stay on top of healthy eating. I know that in the midst of daily demands, we look for easy options. I know how hard it is to break old habits. I’ve also faced my own health challenges.

I know what it’s like to feel bloated, constipated, low in energy, be sick constantly, have skin problems, and hormonal issues. I’ve suffered with eczema, asthma, IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), leaky gut, low immune system, PCOS (polycystic ovaries), sugar-addiction, food allergies and intolerances, over-exercising and binge eating.

Safe to say, I know what it’s like to feel that I don’t have the best of me to give – to my work, to my loved ones, or to really enjoying life.
